EURO 2024

The Albanian national football team has ensured that in its penultimate match participation in EURO 2024, the second major tournament in which it participates.

The Reds have the chance to defend the group leader against the Faroe Islands, with a victory, by entering the European "front door". However, this can no longer guarantee the Reds' first pot in the draw to be drawn on December 2 to determine the group stage of the tournament.

The division of pots is determined based on the overall ranking of the teams in the qualifiers and Albania, even if it wins by a very deep result against the Faroe Islands in the challenge this Morning, it cannot even mathematically manage to be one of the top 5 leaders of the groups that provide the pot where the elite teams are mainly located.

Depending on the outcome of the match with faroe islands, Albania can now be positioned in pot 2, 3 or 4 of the draw, in the current situation that is updated with the completion of each qualifying group. The Reds are confident they don't finish in the fourth pot if they qualify for first place in the group.
