The Final Four, the criticized scheme that determines the winner of the Albanian football championship, will change from next season. Unlike the past two years, the winner among the top 4 teams will no longer be determined by the scheme of two semi-finals and a final.
The Albanian Football Association Executive Committee has approved the new scheme where at the end of the 36 weeks of the championship, the top 4 teams will have their points halved.
Then each of them will have 3 matches with the other 3 rivals. More precisely 3 weeks plus 2 matches each. In total 6 matches that will be played at Air Albania to finally determine the winner of the Super League.
