Egnatia has been eliminated from the qualifying stage of the Champions League, after a humiliating 5-0 defeat in Iceland against Breidablik.

The first match was won in Rrogozhina with a score of 1-0, giving the Albanian champions hope for a historic qualification to the second phase, but this was dashed in the second match, after a series of amateurish blunders by Edlir Tetova's team.

The first half ended with the home team leading by four goals, while in the second half they scored a fifth, while Egnatia barely managed to score the consolation goal.

Thus, the Champions of Albania end their Champions League adventure in the first round, as they will move on to the Conference League qualifiers , where they will face the losing team from the Dinamo Minsk - Ludogorets duel.
