Max Verstappen wins at Ferrari home, disappointment for the redhead

Imola in San Marino turned out to be a very favorable runway for Red Bull even though the runway stairs in the heart of Italy were filled with the colors of the Ferrari flag.

Max Verstappen and Red Bull find a very important victory on the wet track from where the first started and closed the race at the top while the Austrian team recorded full points with Sergio Perez who did not miss a single cm in the duel with Leclerc.

Disappointment for the redhead from Maranello who left favorite on this track, but after Sainz left from the start, everything became more difficult for Leclerc who eventually lost contact with Perez on lap 54 when he left the track and came back to close this race to sixth place.

Third place for McLaren driver Lando Norris, followed by George Russel and Valteri Bottas, while in the overall standings, Leclerc continues to stay at the top, but already followed by world champion Verstappen with 28 points less.
