Kosovo coach, Franco Foda

Kosovo coach Franco Foda is confident of qualifying for the World Cup. In the press conference before the play-off final against Turkey, the coach of the "Dardans" expressed confidence in a positive result.

Foda praised Turkey, saying it is a strong opponent, but stressed that the chances of qualification are 50-50.

He also stated that Kosovo will give everything to win, in what would be a historic qualification.

" The Turkish team is very strong also in terms of individual players like Yildiz, Guler and Calhanoglu, they are of quality, but we are also good. We are in the final with full merit, the chances are 50-50. We will give everything to win.

It is undoubtedly a very important event. We are playing for World Cup qualification. It is good to be motivated, but we must keep our heads in the sand.

Of course, I will not reveal the tactics that I will implement in the game. It is important that we know Turkey's strengths and weaknesses. Tomorrow we will perform with our ideas and principles. Turkey is strong both in the game and in combinations. Their game is based on short passes, but it is important that when we have the ball, we turn to counterattack.

"90 or 120 minutes? I'm not a predictor of the future, maybe there will be penalties. The important thing is that we are prepared for all possibilities ," Foda declared.

The Kosovo-Turkey match will be played on Tuesday, March 31st in Pristina, starting at 20:45.
