"Here's what Albania owes to captain Gjimshit"
Duka and Gjimshiti

The captain of our national football team, Berat Gjimshiti, showed his emotions after the victory with a deep score of 3-0 against the Czech Republic. At his side was the head of the Albanian Football Federation, Armando Duka, who said that Albania owes Gjimshiti a debt, referring to the fact that he was unable to go to Euro 2016. Gjimshiti said that, on the contrary, he owes him Albania.

Gjimshiti called tonight's match not so simple, saying that we are already on the right track.

Armando Duka: Today I was lucky to go out with the captain who made all the matches fantastic, but today superfantastic. I have one thing that I will say publicly, this is the only football player in Albania that we owe him.

Captain Gjimshiti says that the victory was not so easy as the first half was not so good.

Berat Gjimshiti: The most difficult decisions remain for the president, he has done an extraordinary job. We are on the right track. It was not that simple because I believe that after the goal we retreated a lot. With their red card we were very much in danger. I believe the first half was not so good. I believe that we should always say good things because they improve you to level up.

Erion Todhe: Do we have a foot in Germany?

Armando Duka: I have so much faith in this team. The Czech Republic is indeed a strong team, but we have quality and the field shows that.

Erion Todhe: I have the impression that this time our mentality has also increased.

Berat Gjimshiti: I believe that the mentality was also seen in the previous match. Even today it was seen because even though we were 3-0 we scored the 4th and 5th goal.

Alban Xhihani: Did you miss playing with Ayeti in your arms?

Berat Gjimshiti: We have known each other since we were 14 years old. We have played together since U21. Of course I missed him as we are friends, we have known each other for many years and today it was very nice to get a big victory.

Andi Lila: Since you are with the president, I was an actor of the selection that was made then. Without question, he has been like a parent to us, and without question, that moment that he did not come to the European Championship was a broken heart for us. I really want and hope that you go to the European.

Berat Gjimshiti: Nobody owes me because I was certainly bored at that time in 2016, but it is in my nature that I never give up. I owe a debt to Albania and not Albania to me.
