Italy loses key striker for two matches with Germany
Retegui and Spalletti

Italy has lost its most in-form striker at the moment in the national team.

Mateo Retegui will not be available for the two matches against Germany.

The Atalanta player has shown muscle problems and has therefore been removed from the squad.

Retegui will not be available for the two matches in the quarter-finals of the Nations League, while coach Luciano Spalletti has decided not to call up another player in his place.

The "Axes" coach believes that Moise Kean is the ideal choice to replace him at the top of the attack and has total confidence in the Fiorentina player.

The first match between Italy and Germany will be played on Thursday, starting at 20:45, at the "San Siro" stadium.
