Fear for Edoardo Bove during the Fiorentina-Inter match! Midfielder Edoardo Bove fell to the ground around the 15th minute of the game and was taken by ambulance to the Careggi hospital.

He will undergo a TAC scan. He was joined by Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Pradè and general manager Alessandro Ferrari, who were then joined by coach Raffaele Palladino and the player's family members.

According to Adnkronos sources, when he arrived at the hospital, Bove was breathing on his own and had a heartbeat. Initially unconscious, he regained consciousness. According to Ansa, it is an epileptic seizure that caused a cardiac arrest.


Regarding the health condition of the player, the Fiorentina team also reacted through an official announcement. "AC Fiorentina and Careggi University Hospital announce that the footballer Edoardo Bove, helped on the field after losing consciousness during the Fiorentina-Inter match, is currently in intensive therapy, under pharmacological sedation. Bove arrived hemodynamically stable in the emergency department, and initial cardiologic and neurologic examinations ruled out acute central nervous system and cardiopulmonary damage. It will be re-evaluated within the next 24 hours."

Referee Dover immediately stopped the match and then came the official statement from Lega Serie A: "The match will not continue and has been postponed for an indefinite date."
