Twenty-five trophies and countless goals, as David Beckham has now received one of the few honors he had not touched during a glorious 21-year football career.

Dressed in a suit tailored for the occasion by Victoria Beckham, he was knighted by King Charles III himself at Windsor Castle for his services to sport and charity.

Sir David admitted that he is thrilled by this recognition.

"I've definitely been very fortunate in my career to have won what I've won and done what I've done, but to receive such an honour, that of a knighthood, is beyond anything I ever thought I would receive. It's an incredible moment. This is without a doubt my proudest moment ," Beckham said.

His title marks a defining and personally significant moment for one of England's greatest footballers of all time.
