The first victory in the debut match in Brazil and qualification for the World Cup.
Carlo Ancelotti enjoyed it all in 90 minutes. The Italian led the Selecao national team for the second time from the bench, securing the victory that sent them into the final phase of the most important competition in the world.
Brazil triumphed 1-0 over Paraguay, in a match where Vinicius' goal was the key. A success that Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti described as an important step for continuity.
"It's been a wonderful 15 days in every sense. The reception I've received from the Brazilian people has been wonderful, it's a fantastic environment, like a family. The attitude of the players and the good relationship that exists between them, I liked everything. All that was missing was a victory and we got it. So we're happy," said Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Brazil deepens the record as the only team to have participated in every edition of the World Cup.
The 5-time champions will play in the 23rd tournament, which will be held next year in the US, Canada and Mexico.
