The red and black national team arrived on Sunday afternoon in the Faroe Islands, after a long and special journey. From 09.30 the team left for Oslo in Norway, as not all planes land in Torshavn in the Faroe Islands.

Travel specialists show that on those small islands, it is impossible to land all the planes and for this reason only the domestic lines, which have planes with a special device that can land on such small runways and with strong winds. The islands are located at an almost equal distance between Iceland (430 km) and Norway (580 km) in the middle of the ocean.

For this reason, the Reds and Blacks left Oslo around 4:30 p.m., to arrive there after about two hours. A city-state, if Torshavn can be called otherwise, which according to the locals has a population of around 45,000 to 50,000 inhabitants. A population in a strange and isolated place, where the locals declare that their only activity is fishing, but also sheep, as they laughingly tell: "We have more sheep than people, about 90,000..."

The team rested on Monday morning, almost isolated in the hotel, as the seats are limited, where a slightly different climate awaited them, with lower temperatures and fog. To conduct a light training session yesterday evening, since everything was prepared in the 14-day training camp in Tirana.

The country's only stadium, where the match will take place, has around 6000 seats and tonight, at 20:45 local time, the 3rd qualifying match of the Reds and Blacks will take place. Last Saturday the Faroe Islands were beaten 0-3 by the Czech Republic and are considered the weakest team in the group.

Albania will try to fulfill the current objective, that of getting 3 points, just like against Moldova, leaving the queue after the October matches, which are the strongest of the group, with the Czech Republic and Poland in the capital. These matches will decide a lot for our goal, which is the qualification for the European 'Germany 2024'.
