Arsenal wins the championship title after 22 years, celebrations begin in London

Arsenal have been officially declared champions of England for the 2025/2026 season, after Manchester City drew 1-1 away to Bournemouth.

This result creates a four-point gap between the two leading teams ahead of the final week of the championship.

For the "Gunners" this is the 14th title in history and the one that had been missing since 2004.

With this draw against City, Andoni Iraola's Bournemouth secures participation in European cups, while Mikel Arteta's Arsenal ends a 22-year wait for the English league trophy.

Arsenal will lift the title trophy at Selhurst Park on Sunday at the end of the championship, but Mikel Arteta's team will have to wait to celebrate the big title as they now have the Champions League final against PSG, also a historic achievement for the Gunners who return to such an event after 20 years.

The Londoners will seek the trophy at all costs, to end the season in the best possible way.

Meanwhile, Arsenal fans have started celebrating on the streets of London.
