Prime Minister Edi Rama gathered the Socialist Party parliamentary group today, speaking about the May 11 elections, which, as he stated, are not at all ordinary.

In his speech, the head of government said that the weight of geopolitics has not been present as it is in these elections.

According to Prime Minister Rama, the result of the May 11 elections has a great impact on the future of the country.

" I believe that since I have had the privilege of leading this political force and with all the elections to date, 9 of them, in none of them has the weight of geopolitics been as present as it is in these elections."

These elections are taking place in a doubly extraordinary context.

One is the context of relations with the EU and the EU with the BP and the other is the context of our membership in the Euro-Atlantic alliance and security as a whole.

The May 11 elections are not ordinary at all and the result of May 11 is more than the result of political parties, in our case it is more than the victory of the Socialist Party itself.

"For us as a political family and for our flag, it was of particular importance to win the elections, but on May 11, the importance of the election victory and the election result itself have a much greater weight on the near future of the country than they have in the previous elections, 9 times in a row ," said Rama.
