The chairman of the Democratic Party parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, was expelled from this Thursday's plenary session after throwing water at Prime Minister Edi Rama during proceedings in the Assembly.

The incident occurred as opposition MPs blocked the floor during the voting on the draft laws on the agenda.

After the incident, the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, decided to exclude Bardhi from the session, while he continued to remain in the hall even after the decision was made.
