The country's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, appeared in this plenary session, while the majority went directly to the vote.

The situation in the Assembly became tense, as it was accompanied by debates on the Territorial Reform report.

In this regard, the opposition requested a 3-month extension of the commission's term, but the majority was against it. The DP blocked the floor, leading to a 5-minute recess.

The leader of the SP group, Taulant Balla, requested that a direct vote be held without discussion.


After this, the Speaker of the Assembly Niko Peleshi passed the session directly to the vote and with 84 votes in favor of the majority, the expert report prepared by the territorial co-chairman, Arbion Mazniku, passed.
