Fredi Beleri is sitting for the first time in the European Parliament as a deputy of Greece.

He received a five-day leave from prison in Albania, to take the oath as an MEP in Strasbourg.

And his first views there, it must be said, are not disappointing. Beleri is seen at one point being greeted by another Greek MEP, as he jumps in fear when he puts his hand on his shoulder.

"The prison made it shady", the commentators wrote with humor in the viral video on social networks.

Fredi Beleri is considered a diplomatic achievement for the neighboring country. Although he has a rich criminal CV with one conviction in Greece and two convictions in Albania, practically for terrorism, illegal possession of weapons, and recently also electoral corruption.
