Celebrating today the 79th anniversary of the country's liberation from Italian and German forces, Prime Minister Edi Rama, President Bajram Begaj, Speaker of Parliament Lindita Nikolla have placed wreaths among the nation's martyrs.
Albania commemorates today, November 29, the 79th anniversary of Liberation from Italian and German fascist forces. During the Second World War, the National Liberation Army of Albania carried out armed uprisings against the occupation of Albania.
