The head of the DP, Lulzim Basha, also commemorated the Legendary Commander, Adem Jashari, on his birthday. Together with a group of deputies, Basha paid tribute to Adem Jashari's grave in Prekaz and the Jashari family.

"While today we enjoy the fruits of freedom, amidst challenges we are building our future and that of our children, we remember and bow with respect before the sublime sacrifice of the legendary Commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Adem Jashari, who laid his blood and that of his family his in the foundations of a free and independent Kosovo", said Basha after laying wreaths at the Jashari family memorial.

"Honoring their sacrifice," he said, "we must all remember our responsibility to carry out the legacy of the fallen, to protect and develop what we have won with blood, for a nation at peace, secure and dedicated to the well-being of citizens in any country they live: in the Republic of Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and everywhere around the world".

Earlier, Basha visited the tower of Isa Boletini to remember and honor all those who contributed by sacrificing their lives for the freedom and independence of Albanians.
