Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his victory speech, also made a dedication to his mother, Aneta Rama, who has passed away.
He said that she and his late father were "dug out of the grave" to be used in the campaign by their opponents. For this reason, they were told to make them "halal".
"This time too, just like last time, my mother Aneta did not follow me as a shadow of unconditional love in that legendary position in front of the television, as if in a war trench until the day she left to reunite with my father, but since this time too both of them were pulled out of the grave, in the endless campaign of the powerless, I want to tell them to do me a favor and I believe that they are looking down on us together and are proud of me and are proud of the Albania that we are all building together ," said Rama.
Prime Minister Edi Rama's most special thanks in his victory speech went to his wife, Linda Rama. He said that she is the only opposition member he has not been able to defeat.
"But the most special thanks go to the only opposition, which I still cannot defeat. But, thank you for accepting me into the unity government. Linda Rama, Zaho's indomitable mother, Reja's proud mother and Greg's loyal friend. Linda is the pillar that actually holds up the four corners of this ceiling. Thank you very much, woman, and I believe I can speak on your behalf as well, thanking Zaho, who sticks to us like a solar-powered battery," Rama said.
Prime Minister Rama also thanked his children, Rea and Greg, in his victory speech.
"They continue not to cause us any headaches. Who live their lives, away from the spotlight, away from state offices, away from any relationship in conflict of interest, enduring especially Reja, sorry, severe verbal aggressions and slanders of the most disgusting kind. I thank you both from the bottom of my heart and as always I wish. That I may make you proud with my work today and, God willing, with the trace of my work tomorrow ", said Rama.
