The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has called an extraordinary meeting at 8:30 PM with the political leaders of the 12 regions.

The Democratic Party, leader of the Alliance for a Greater Albania coalition, suffered a deep defeat in the May 11 parliamentary elections, securing only 50 MPs and hundreds of thousands of fewer votes compared to the 2021 elections.

For this, Berisha has blamed election manipulation by the Socialists and has called for a protest on May 16 in Tirana.
