Democratic MP Saimir Korreshi raised the concerns faced by patients at Lushnja Hospital.

In an interpellation with Minister Evis Sala , Korreshi began his speech with irony, asking the minister if she had eaten breakfast, while showing the breakfast served to patients at the Lushnja hospital.

He accused the ministry of moving the hospital building to unsuitable premises, describing them as "shelters".

Korreshi also raised concerns about the lack of medicines and medical equipment, while referring to a report, he said that over 100 million lek of expired medicines have been identified.

Korreshi: The first question to you is “did you have breakfast?” because I am offering you the breakfast of the hospital in Lushnje for the patients. This is the breakfast that the patients eat. From the audit that you have done, there is no cook at work, but there is a nurse. You have left it in writing, the nurse works in the kitchen as a cook.

Why did you move the Lushnja hospital building and leave it for 8 months in a shelter, where it is today and the construction permit is not clear. Who bears this responsibility, so that all Lushnja patients stay in shelters. Second, how are you with geography, it is so difficult for you to understand that there are other cities besides Tirana. Why don't you come with me to visit the Lushnja hospital premises. Direct question from the citizens of Lushnja, what does the Minister of Health do, does she stay on the plane or should she also look at the hospitals under her control?! Because on the plane you can control the ambulance at most. From the report you are telling you, there are over 100 million lek of expired medicines.
