Lawyer Spartak Ngjela commented on Rama's accusations against SPAK for not launching an investigation against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
Ngjela draws a parallel with Hashim Thaçi in Kosovo and says that the internationals did not denounce Thaçi in the courts of Prishtina, because they were afraid of his murder, because according to Ngjela, the former President of Kosovo still ran a paramilitary organization in Kosovo.
"Rama does not understand exactly what organized crime at the highest levels of politics is.
Saliu's criminalization cannot be asked of the Albanian judiciary.
Why?
This begs the question:
Why was he not denounced before the judiciary in Pristina ? Thaci's internationals, but filed the denunciation against him in The Hague?
Because, all the judges of the Pristina court would be afraid of his murder.Thaçi was still running a paramilitary organization in Kosovo.Do you understand now why Saliu can not be judged by SPAK? And, do you also understand why the Americans have not yet brought their denunciation against Sali to the SPAK?
But will Sali be tried?
Of course yes. And maybe just like Thaçi. But the denunciation must be made by the American legal bodies in an international prosecutor's office and court for the trial of crimes in Albania, and abroad. For the crimes committed by the leaders of Albanian politics who were in power.
But, and this court, must be set up outside Albania, by the Parliament of Albania, with a special law. "The same thing happened in Kosovo", writes Ngjela.
