The Ukrainian Ambassador to Tirana, Volodymyr Shukrov, was asked if Ukrainian military personnel were trained in Albania.
"You have very accurate information. I can't say details about it, but I can say it's true. The assessment for this in Ukraine is very high. I can say that during the visit (of Zalenksyt to Tirana), this issue was discussed and evaluated with the highest marks", he stressed in the show "This Week".
Speaking about the relations between the two countries, he said that after the war one can cooperate in several areas.
"I appreciate the current state of Ukrainian-Ukrainian relations. We understand that after the war it will be possible to develop possible cooperation in several areas such as transport, port cooperation, agriculture, as well as modern technologies. I can say that these relationships are developing in a good way and at a dynamic stage. Our economies are complementing each other. For Ukraine, there are all possibilities to join the Balkan region," Shukrov said.
He also spoke about the coverage that albanian media makes of the war in his country, giving this assessment:
"The media in Albania have worked responsively and have shown with realities the events of the war and we understand that the media wanted to understand the situation. The role of the press and media in Albania can be considered highly professional."
