The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, on Monday recycled an old idea, challenging the Parliament and other political parties, whether or not they will approve a draft that punishes politicians, like judges, who have committed corruption or are related to underworld characters, or people related to them.

But only one day later, on Tuesday, Basha announced several meetings in Laç and Kurbin through social networks.

One of them was a family from Kurbina, where, among others, the father of one of the characters of the dark world, Ervis Martinajt , who was convicted of serious criminal offenses and disappeared since August of last year, participated.

Lulzim Basha and Martinaj's father are seen talking freely with each other, although it is not known if they were talking about the vetting bill for female politicians.

What is known is that 34 properties have been seized from Martinaj's father, three of which are the direct property of Mustafa Martinaj.

According to investigative experts, the seizure of assets is done for investigative purposes, related to the source of income as well as the possibility of laundering dirty money.

So if Basha says that his draft is in the same predictions as that of the vetting of judges and prosecutors, can this meeting also be called inappropriate?

The vetting of judges says that direct or indirect contact with convicts or relatives of convicts automatically removes them from the system.

The project of the law on the vetting of female politicians foresees restrictions on the contacts of family members with the world of crime, ABC writes.

But Lulzim Basha 's problem is deeper than that, the toast with Vis Martinaj's father does not seem to have been a random meeting.
