The American Embassy in Tirana has reacted after today's announcement that the Socialist Party and Sali Berisha's "Reestablishment" group have agreed to end the chaos in the Parliament.

Through a message, the US Embassy says that "Functional institutions are essential to any healthy democracy and elected members must exercise their duties and responsibilities in good faith within Parliament."

The Delegation of the European Union in our country has taken the same position as the USA.

"The Embassy of the United States in Tirana is encouraged by the announcement of the restoration of normal order in the Parliament. Functional institutions are essential to any healthy democracy, and elected members must exercise their duties and responsibilities in good faith within Parliament," the US embassy announced.

The majority agreed today to pave the way for "Reestablishment" to set up two commissions of inquiry in the Parliament, in exchange for them to give up the constant disruption of plenary sessions.

DP of Lulzim Basha has stated that the Rama-Berisha agreement is aimed at the failure of the Electoral Reform.
