After exercising his right to vote in Surrel this Sunday morning, Prime Minister and leader of the Socialist Party, Edi Rama, has moved to the SP headquarters in Tirana, where he is closely following the electoral process.

From the "general command", as he called it, Rama has shared a video message on social networks, calling on citizens to turn out en masse to vote.

"Here we are live from the general command, here where all the data on the progress of the process is collected. I take this opportunity to tell everyone who has not yet gone to vote, to go and vote," Rama said.

He emphasized the importance of participation, considering voting a civic and patriotic act.

"It is imperative that the votes are cast, collected, counted, and that those of you who can vote, do not miss out. It is a civic, social, patriotic duty. So vote, vote, vote, calmly, with a little patience and with your convictions, vote," said Rama.

The socialist leader's call comes at a time when turnout as of 1:00 PM is 26.95%.
