Over 30,000 teachers will benefit from a salary increase with the new budget for next year, according to the Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama.

At dawn, Rama announced through social networks that "with the new budget for next year, there will be a significant increase in salaries for over 30,000 teachers". 

But he declared the same thing in April 2023 before the local elections, when in every public appearance he talked about salary increases for teachers, policemen, doctors, etc...

While for the deputies and the administration, the salary increase was applied from May 2023, the policemen had to wait until August, while the teachers are still waiting...

When the Ministry of Finance was asked by Top News in June why the teachers had not yet received the allowances, the answer it received was: "It is not for lack of funds, but for bureaucratic issues and the reconciliation of allowances according to seniority by the local education offices." .

If we were to take this for granted, then we can say that the local offices, the ministry and the entire state chain has "remained in the classroom", it is unable to calculate the salaries of the teachers who have been waiting for 7 months.
