Rama at the EU Enlargement Forum: We are ready and fully committed

Prime Minister Edi Rama participated in the European Union Enlargement Forum in Brussels on Tuesday. In his speech, Rama reiterated Albania's determination to become a member of the union, even if it means giving up the veto and representation by commissioners, rights that member states currently enjoy.

He said that Europe is at a key moment in history and that it must maintain its status as a "major player" in the geopolitical storm that has engulfed the continent.

"Albania brings to the table the great spirit of Europe's past. Albania is ready, we are fully committed. We will not stop for a moment, we are investing in the future with the mindset of a country that feels responsible before the European Union," said Rama.
