The United States of America, up to the level of the White House, has expressed its support to Albania in support of the decision to break diplomatic relations with Iran.

The spokeswoman of the White House, Karine Jean Pierre, said that Joe Biden's administration is working with our country to strengthen cyber security, she also commented on the possibilities of implementing Article 5 of NATO to protect member countries from cyber attacks.

" Our role here is to support Albania's efforts to hold Iran accountable and work with Albania to strengthen its cyber security, as well as strengthen norms of responsible state behavior in cyberspace.

That is what we will do and we will be a helpful ally in that direction.

NATO Allies make their own sovereign decisions about how to respond to cyber attacks, including whether to invoke Article 5, as I know people have asked about it, so that's up to NATO Allies.

You know, there's a process for that. It's a multi-step process before we can activate Article 5, so once again, this is an issue that NATO allies will discuss ," said White House spokeswoman Karine Jean Pierre.
