The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted after the Constitutional Court's decision to suspend President Bajram Begaj's decree on the elections in Tirana.

Bardhi attacks the Head of State, calling him a "clown in the Presidency", who according to him "was discredited today in the eyes of public opinion".

According to him, Begaj should have resigned today after this decision, describing his decree on the elections as "the most serious violation of the Constitution by a President in these 35 years."

"The clown in the Presidency was discredited today in the eyes of all public opinion, being declared by a decision of the Court of Justice as a soldier of the ER. If he had a shred of dignity today, he would have resigned. No President has ever committed a more serious violation of the Constitution in these 35 years," writes Bardhi.
