At the Speakers' Conference that is being held at the Assembly headquarters, there were strong debates between the representatives of the majority and the opposition, carried over from the last parliamentary session that was accompanied by tension.

The Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Agron Gjekmarkaj , has criticized the Assembly's decision to expel Gazmend Bardhi and 7 other opposition MPs for 10 days after blocking the floor and obstructing the voting last Thursday.

He said that with the decisions made by the majority, the SP is trying to put the minority under control, converting it into the " Opposition we want ".

"It is a shame that you excluded the opposition from the session. This is an arbitrary and shameful decision. I remember one of your slogans "Albania we love" you failed to do this. Now you are making "Opposition We Want". Our act was symbolic", said Gjekmarkaj.

Even the democratic deputy, Jorida Tabaku, expressed reservations about their exclusion, underlining that the opposition lawmakers did not physically harm anyone and followed a democratic form of protest.

" Disgraceful exclusion of DP deputies. The session was blocked due to an authentication request that you refused. You have limited our spaces. The decision came after you refused to accommodate a request from our group. We didn't hurt anyone physically, it was a democratic form of protest ," Tabaku said at the meeting.
