PD also brings the Food Price Board to the Constitutional Court

Even the Board set up by the government to control the increase in the prices of basket foods will be sent to the Constitutional Court by the Democratic Party, after a few days ago it sent the request for the abolition of the Fuel Board.

The deputy of DP, Dashnor Sula announced the news and that the DP will turn to the Constitutional Court for the abolition of the Board, as according to him it was set up to protect the citizens and it has not worked, but prices have only increased.

" The parliamentary group of the Democratic Party will appeal to the Constitutional Court for the abolition of the Board set up to control the prices of basket foods in the Albanian market. This Board, which was set up to make it possible to protect Albanian citizens from rising prices, has not worked. We, as DP, have requested that in September 2021, the VAT of food and basket products be reduced, which would make it possible for Albanian citizens to have lower prices ," said deputy Sula, among other things.
