Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present at the presentation of the Public Administration Motivation Plan, part of Albania's 2030 challenge for EU membership and the qualitative growth of the state's capabilities in the service of citizens.

During his speech, Prime Minister Rama stated that in June the new wage increase will come into effect, a period in which the objective of the average wage in the public sector being 900 Euros will be reached.

"In June, the new salary increase will come into force and thus everyone will have an increase in their salary and we will reach the objective that we have announced that the average salary in the public sector will be 900 euros and definitely that the average salary in the public sector will be 900 euros. June is the last month with this salary you have. The next salary will be the increased salary and it is a significant increase. It's a significant increase over a period of time.

We need to look a little more at how to do even the most difficult, most challenging part, which is starting from the lowest pensions, to increase support for pensioners because we have a significant number who receive pensions under 150 Euros. Prime Minister Rama has emphasized that within 5 years the problem for public administration employees working in rented offices will be solved.

"We have a large part of the administration in rented offices, here and there due to the lack of space. We have started a process for revitalizing the infrastructure we have and the properties we have available to guarantee that a 5-year period will solve most of this problem. Those who work in rented offices, have the opportunity to work in environments that physically express their appreciation for the work they do there ," said Rama.
