Part of the roundtable discussion for the election of the new President is Fatmir Mediu, as chairman of the Parliamentary Group "Alliance for Change". He has sought consensus among the opposition to come up with a joint candidacy.

During a TV interview, Mediua has indicated that he has started discussions with the head of PAA Agron Duka, where they have proposed the name of Dashamir Shehi as the right person to come to the helm of the state.

"The rational would look for a common candidate. We as the opposition must be close to creating a consensual relationship with each other and then building it with the other party. We have also started discussing names. I have discussed with Agron Duka and we have proposed the name of our friend Dashamir Shehi. "There is a political history, but we said once again that a common consensus is needed ," said Mediu.
