Today, the Authority for Information on State Security Files, through a verification, has revealed the fact that a "high-profile Albanian political figure" with the initials IM turns out to have been an associate of the former State Security.

Voxnews has reported from its sources that it is about Ilir Meta.

But this has brought to light an old statement of the late former deputy, Dritan Prifti, when he accused Meta of being a former collaborator of the State Security.

The statement was republished in 2015 on the Facebook page " Enigma Mysteries and News ".

"A communist spy, who spied on his friends since university. He was recruited by his pedagogue NK Is there a more shocking fact than this about the number 2 man of the Albanian state.
