Ilir Meta spoke today about the dismissal of Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj.

"Arben Ahmetaj has been fired for a long time. Because he understood that he wanted a new, illegitimate government. A part of the socialists understand that the situation is difficult, but they don't talk about the fact that they are under pressure and are at work," said Meta.

At the first conference as leader of the Freedom Party, Meta also spoke about the opposition, cooperation with DP, and the ideology of his party.

With the return to active politics, Ilir Meta dissolved the governing bodies of the party he founded, but he was generous with the old leadership of the party, amnestying them from the mistakes of the past, starting with the burning of mandates and the boycott of elections, acts which he vows not to repeat themselves.

 "The Freedom Party, as long as I am its leader, will not boycott anything in this country for a second. Not even a parliamentary session, nothing else," said Meta.

He blames Lulzim Basha for the decisions that damaged LSI. The former ally of his wife does not forgive him for breaking the agreement of June 5, for which he reveals for the first time the unsaid of a pact that was never realized.
