DP Chairman Sali Berisha, in his speech at today's protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, spoke of "a peaceful uprising," while emphasizing that Albania is at the most critical moment of the last 35 years.

"The developments of recent days have led us to gather today in this square, on this boulevard, in the most alarming conditions, perhaps in our peaceful uprising, at the most critical moment for Albania in the last 35 years. Therefore, I must begin this speech with an expression that today sounds more relevant than ever: Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it ," said Berisha.
