A protest called by the Democratic Party in front of the Prime Minister's Office has begun, demanding the removal of Edi Rama and the creation of a technical government.
Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Agron Gjekmarkaj was the first to speak, saying that the current government is ready to sacrifice Europe to save itself, but this will not be allowed by the DP.
"The system of Rilindja and Edi Rama no longer has any alibi, it has violated the free vote, it has survived politically by transforming the state into an instrument of power. The life of Albanians is a return to 1976. We are sacrificing for the European dream, while the current government is ready to sacrifice Europe, democracy and Albania just to save itself. The cup is full", said Gjekmarkaj in his speech.
