Analyst Baton Haxhiu, who is also the shadow adviser to Prime Minister Edi Rama, says that the names proposed by the opposition for President can not get the consensus of the Socialist Party.
"I consider that this list can not pass to the SP in any way. Remove Visar Zhitin, no one can fit the SP ", said Haxhiu, saying that the majority is not ready to give consensus on these names.
The analyst singled out MP Dashamir Shehi from the proposed names, despite the fact that according to him it will be difficult for the majority to agree on a President.
"I am sorry that Dashamir Shehi is on this list, as he deserves public respect for the way he has lived with politics," he told Euronews.
With this, Haxhiu said, the opposition is using strategies. According to him, with these names proposed by the opposition, he intends to leave the blame to the majority for not reaching a pact for the election of a president by broad consensus.
