Municipal Council requests SPAK: Allow Veliaj to participate in the next meeting

The Tirana Municipal Council has sent a request to SPAK to allow the participation of Mayor Erion Veliaj in the next Council meeting, which will be held on Friday, November 21st.

A group of socialist representatives have signed the request addressed to SPAK, which comes just a short time after this same Council decided to remove Veliaj from the position of mayor, due to absence from work.

It was the Constitutional Court that overturned the Council's decision, the Government's VKM, and the President's decree, reinstating Veliaj to the position of mayor.
