Former President of the Republic, Bamir Topi , has expressed his condolences on the passing of politician Servet Pëllumbi, praising him as a prominent and respected figure in Albanian public life.

After the tributes, Topi told the media that he had had the opportunity to get to know Professor Pëllumbi closely during his political activity, describing him as one of the most balanced voices.

Bamir Topi emphasized that Servet Pëllumbi remains one of the best collaborators he has known in politics.

"I would like to express my condolences to the family. I have been closely acquainted with Prof. Pëllumbi during my political activity. It comes as an internal and constant conviction, he has been one of the most balanced voices, not only in politics in general, but within the Socialist Party in particular. A reformer. There is much to talk about, but I will close with these words, he is one of the best men I have had the opportunity to cooperate with in politics", said former President Topi.
