Flutura Açka will now continue the battle as an independent deputy in the Assembly, after leaving the Parliamentary group of the Democratic Party and the direction of the Media Commission.

Açka shows that he has the same distance towards Lulzim Basha, since on June 11 he left the post of the official PD vice president.

"Since June 11, I have understood that our structure, if it would remain as it is, if it would not undergo a reformation based on the wishes and initiatives of a group of people, but would remain as the former part of the DP was one thing that didn't work. I did not imagine being the vice-president of something that was parallel to PD. Since the moment when the seal has passed to PD, i.e. to Re-establishment, it doesn't even make sense for such formations. At least I don't see myself in such formations", Açka told A2 CNN

The opposition deputy admits that this mandate may be her first and last, as she says that if the Assembly approves the draft for closing a part of the lists, she will not compete.

"If the lists had been opened yesterday, then I would have competed as an independent deputy and I would have let the Albanians decide whether I would be a deputy or not, in the whole of Albania, in one area. But in these conditions, with this tight jacket, only on the desire, ego or caprice of a chairman, I think it is not a coffee for me and here I stop in a certain way. But the opposition battle will continue" , said Açka.
