"In Albania, Russia gave about 500,000 dollars to the Democratic Party in 2017 through phantom companies" - this is what was said in the source of the American government, a statement that turned the eyes of Lulzim Basha.

As a former leader of the Democratic Party at that time, Basha's name was 'waved' today as the person directly responsible for the Russian financing scandal in the DP. But for analyst Frrok Çupi, the truth is different. It was the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha's old connection with Moscow that brought the PD to this state, which, according to the journalist, was formed by communists.

Çupi revealed on Report tv that in DP, Berisha's connections injected a Russian behavior, where all the developments and the intensity of the events in them coincide with a country like Russia.

'It has been known for many years that something happens in this country. We have touched with our hands and with our skin the effects that these have caused. Russia is typical that it has it on its own bill, in its own way of working, it finances political parties, the media, it pushes chaos, it takes the situation to August state. (…) Russia for years, I think that the Democratic Party has had connections with Russia since 91. The biggest effect this situation had was that we never broke away from communism. DP took a form that had nothing to do with democracy and this was a double Serbian movement. The same method, killing, poisoning as Russia has, was installed in DP.' - said Chupi.

Çupi also stopped at specific names to emphasize this pro-Russian approach in DP, which according to the analyst had its origin since 1991.

These are the cases, Pjetër Arbnori, the great leader of the DP, who went to the other world due to poisoning. Likewise, Ali Spahia, the former defense minister who was ordered to attack the southern areas with the Albanian army, Zafer Xhulali suffered the same fate.

All the most ferocious communists in 92 gathered in the PD and the rest remained a certain reality and to this day we have the effects of this method, the PD is no longer able to stand up. The Russian style cannot generate more positives.' - affirmed Chupi.

As for which DP leader should be crucified, Çupi said Berisha's name without hesitation, while he described Basha as a victim who resembles the entire guilt-ridden ordeal of Koçi Xoxes.

"Nothing happened until September 9, 2021, without Berisha's permission, and Basha is a man who signed, already a victim, but of course he is an element used by Berisha. The man who has ties to Moscow and has had is undoubtedly Berisha. It is shameful to tell lies. As they did with Koçi Xoxen, he ate everything.' - said Chupi
