"The truth of open doors", Minister Spahiu responds to the DP: Health

The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Klodiana Spahiu, has responded to the Democratic Party regarding the false accusations that she did not receive Albi Sula and his 70-year-old mother. Through a post on social networks, Minister Spahiu, while posting photos from the meeting, where she personally received the young man together with his mother, explains that she decided that the case will be followed up step by step by the health structures.

"The citizen in the photo is Albi Sula. Together with his mother, I received him personally in my office yesterday. I listened attentively to his health problems and the difficult journey of treatment. We explained step by step the follow-up of the case by the health structures and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, as well as the steps that will follow.
In the face of several claims made publicly by the opposition, the facts are clear:
* The citizen who is alleged not to have been received was in my office yesterday, in front of me and his mother.
* He was treated and followed by the doctors of the Oncology Hospital at the QSUT, according to medical needs and protocols.
* In accordance with administrative procedures and the contract with the relevant hospital, his case was referred for further follow-up in Turkey," writes Minister Spahiu.

In her response, the minister emphasizes that before any political debate, for her, there is the citizen and his or her concerns.

"Doing politics is legitimate. Criticizing is right. But a health problem should not be turned into a tool to build an accusation that does not match the facts. For me, before every political debate is the citizen and his or her problems," underlines Minister Spahiu.

The doors of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, says Minister Spahiu, are and will remain open. To listen, to clarify and, where possible, to find solutions.

Because PraniBesnike, according to the minister, is not a slogan but a responsibility towards the citizen.
