The MP of the Freedom Party has strongly opposed the initiative of the SP and PD to open the files of the former Security. In the Laws Commission, MP Xixho said that the Files Authority has acted illegally, as according to her it has requested the opening of the verification of the purity of the politicians from an anonymous e-mail.  

Xxixo accused the File Authority of being used as a tool by the Socialist Party to blackmail the political opponent. Meanwhile, the head of the Commission, Klotilda Bushka, called on Djixo not to turn personal causes into Commission matters.

The Dossier Authority reported to the Assembly that following e-mail signals from a citizen who had tried to escape from the country shortly before the 90s, it was found that former president Ilir Meta was an associate of the former State Security, that is, he had spied on Sigurimi his friend's escape plan, a claim that Meta himself, now the head of the Freedom Party, has denied.

Xixho : I expected that we would have an initiative for the dismissal of the members of the file authority who were voted by this assembly and have great responsibility, of an office near the government and with a method worse than state security, if this parliament was honest it would it was discussed today about the proposal that has been sleeping in the drawers of the parliament for 7 months, about oil, indexation of salaries. Today we discuss an act that has been put before us at this table, to the shame of the majority, initiated by an illegal procedure and authority, set in motion by an anonymous e-mail. All this law, in fact before an alibi, for all the scandalous actions, blackmailing the authority of the files.

It clearly speaks of how Meta, how the authority investigated the files, made 7 decisions in one day, is a Renaissance standard, was set in motion by an anonymous email and within 24 hours made decisions and sent a letter quickly, while the law he says he stops the investigation, while the letter is addressed to the assembly by name and surname. In the file that claims authority, the name Ilir Rexhep Metaj is not at any time. I have Mr. FT's statement, made in 1990, which at no time clearly states his claims and at no time is Ilir Rexhep Metaj expressed. We voted in favor of that law, in 2015, initiated by the majority of that time, but this law that we are discussing today, which is a clear alibi of this majority to use authority as leverage against political opponents, is unacceptable.

Bushka:  We are not the body that examines whether an institution acted rightly, wrongly or badly, those who have claims should address the relevant bodies. This commission is serving a general principle, a public interest, here we are not dealing with one or two individuals. Be careful when referring to the institution, to respect the guests. We cannot turn personal cases into matters of the Law Commission.
