SP accepts DP's initiative: To open all files for every citizen

The Socialist Party has agreed to Enkelejd Alibeaj's initiative regarding the opening of the files.

Alibeaj presented the amendments to the draft law "On classified information" "state secret", which would lead to the complete opening of the files of the former Security.

According to the initiative of the Democrats, the files should be fully opened for every citizen and not only for the affected persons.

SP deputy, Ermonela Felaj said that the moment has come for everyone to be together for this initiative.

"The time has come to be open to the past by no longer allowing what Mr. Alibeaj said could have been used for blackmail. It is not in the honor of the deputies to hide behind such clauses. The time has come for us all to be together for the removal of paragraph four of the law.

The law on the authority of files has been subject to change only once, I would see it if we judge the change made by Mr. Alibeaj. The authority will say it itself", said Felaj.
