The deputy of the Democratic Party, Saimir Korreshi, left the premises of the Assembly, as they were not allowed to be part of the meeting of the Ethics Committee.

A group of opposition deputies asked to be part of the meeting that will decide on their expulsion or not due to the tensions caused in yesterday's plenary session, but they were not allowed.

As he accused the majority for blocking the session, Korreshi did not even spare jokes when a journalist asked him if he was "enjoying the salary increase", which the MPs gave themselves a while ago.

Excerpt from the interview:

Question: Mr. Koreshi, are you enjoying the salary increase?

Korreshi: We are enjoying it...

Korreshi: Salary is not the problem. It's a big deal that we don't get the salary. We will do like everyone else, we will eat the old woman's pension. My old woman takes 118 thousand ALL, full.
