Berisha: Rama met with narco-terrorists in Aruba, returned with a 400 thousand
Sali Berisha

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, appeared today at a media conference from the Blue House, where he made harsh accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding an alleged meeting in Aruba, which he described as "flagrant and dangerous for national security."

Berisha declared that this meeting is "the most flagrant international evidence of Edi Rama's cooperation and coordination with Albanian and international narco-terrorist groups", which according to him have been declared terrorist organizations by the US.

"The Aruba meeting is being followed in grave silence by Edi Rama and his drug ministers. He is trying to archive it into oblivion, but that will not happen," Berisha told reporters.

Berisha said the opposition is "totally committed to full transparency," accusing Rama of making deals with drug cartels to turn Albania into a haven for criminal money.

According to him, after this alleged meeting, Rama returned to Albania with a luxury watch worth 400,000 euros, decorated with diamonds and sapphires.

Berisha continued by comparing the role of the Albanian Prime Minister to that of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, saying that Rama has become "the first president of a narco-state in Europe."

Excerpt from Berisha's speech

The Aruba meeting is being followed in grave silence by Edi Rama and his drug ministers.

But Aruba is the most blatant international evidence of Edi Rama's cooperation and coordination with the US-designated terrorist groups of Albanian and international narco-terrorists.

Edi Rama is doing everything he can to archive Aruba into oblivion, but this will not happen.

I guarantee Albanians that the opposition is totally committed to full transparency, as in this meeting, the agreement between the narco-government and the narco-terrorists, to transform Albania into a haven for their criminal money.

From this meeting, it is said that Edi Rama returned with a 400 thousand euro watch, with diamonds and sapphires of the highest prices.

Edi Rama does not talk about the Aruba meeting because this meeting, like Maduro of Venezuela, declares him the head of the continent's first and only narco-state.

We, the DP, which has stood strong, as you know, from the beginning until today, has continuously denounced the Albanian narco-state, the destructive consequences of the narco-state, the replacement of the rule of law with the mafia state, the replacement of the market economy with the narco-economy, the massive departure of Albanians from Albania, feels encouraged by the recent decisions of President Trump, who declared drug cartels as terrorist organizations.

But I want to inform Albanians that the president of France also decided to use the army, its specialized units, against organized crime organizations.

What do these show? These show that drug cartels and criminal organizations pose a major threat to the security of countries, the security of regions, a major threat to peace and security in the world.
