Berisha: I am not aware that Sazani has been sold to Trump's son-in-law

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted to the questions raised regarding the possible sale of the island of Sazan.

In a statement, Berisha stressed that Albanian laws allow the granting of land and property for a certain period, but he is not aware of any sale of the island to the son-in-law of former US President Donald Trump. He also denied Edi Rama's involvement in anything like that.

"First of all, to be honest with you, I have no information that we are dealing with a sale.
Albanian laws allow the sale of land, plots and lands for 1 euro, as is known, for a certain period. I have no knowledge of whether the island of Sazan was bought by the Kushner couple or sold by the head of the criminal organization, Edi Rama. Personally, I have no knowledge, because Albanian laws do not provide for such a thing," Berisha stressed.
