Berisha with scars on his face comes to the podium again: We do not accept that

Sali Berisha thanked the protesters who joined the opposition rally against the Rama government, held on the same day as the leaders of the European Union.

Berisha welcomed the leaders of the EU and the Western Balkans. "We express our boundless gratitude for the all-round help for the help you have been giving to Albania for decades", said Berisha, as the crowd chanted "O Sali, o hero, all of Albania loves you".

"We are unfortunate, due to the fact that today we are represented at this summit with the man who should have been in front of justice and not sitting there with you. We feel unfortunate because the power of the one who represents us rests on electoral crime, stolen vote, drugs, corruption and other evils against this nation.

This summit is a golden opportunity for Albanians to be heard, so we, as tradition requires, will tell our friends the truth. We are not here in a festive manifestation as we would like to be. We could not accept that this historic summit for our country was presented as support for Rama and his government".
